{HOME} wreath

I've had this wreath sitting in my craft room since before Christmas! I wrapped it made a cute fabric flower and then set it aside to do other projects. Oy! I've released it from it's stagnant state and gussied it up for our front door. I LOVE how it turned out! I hope you're inspired!!

I dyed the fabric to a light pink and wrapped it around a styro wreath.

From the same fabric, I made this adorbs fabric fleur, layered it over some vintage lace (Thanks Altaira!) Then, I tied on more lace ribbon.

I die cut and embossed some paper pennants and letters. I sponged the edges and adhered together.
I made two cute small pennant garlands and attached them to the wreath behind the word garland.

More ribbon, it definitely needed more ribbon so, I grabbed my stash of
textured ribbon and there ya go! Done!
It makes me happy!
Hope you're inspired! Smooches!!

Tulle Blossom and a sweet lil sugar pie

I forgot about this cute tulle blossom because it was in Sav's hair. So, here's a peak at what she was rockin' earlier today in her 'do. Notice she's tripling up the fleur accessories. It totally works on my cute lil sugar pie! All pink, All the time!!

Hair Blossoms

I haven't made hair goodies in so long - too long. There's nothing to stir the creative juices like needing a cute gift for a 4 year old. So, I whipped up some super cute blossoms and rosettes for a sweet little girl named Ruby. I made one for myself too. ;) Every girl needs cute hair accessories!

Our Boy Scrapbook pages ... The beginning

Our lil guy will be a year old in less than 2 weeks and I'm just starting his Scrapbook - Oh my!!
I've got some serious catching up to do!! Bear with me as I learn how to create boy pages. This will be an interesting progression to watch because I can do pink princess stuff all day long but, blue boy stuff - that's not so easy. He'll certainly never look at his books and be critical and I just need to remember that when I'm stewing over the pages for hours on end. Here are his first 2 pages...

**Kiddo Class** Father's Day Frames - Austin

Sav, Jame and I have been busy getting ready for Father's Day and J's 1st Birthday!! We've got family coming to visit so, I wanted to get ahead of the game and get everything done. I'm holding a Kiddo Craft Class this Saturday and Sunday to make cute little wooden frames and cards for Father's Day. Check out the details...
Saturday, 11 AM OR Sunday, 3 PM
$8.00 per frame/card set. Please let me know by Thursday if you're joining us and how many frame/card sets you'd like to make so I can have enough supplies ready. It's going to be FUN!!
* To complete your frame project print a 4x6 photo ahead of time so we know whether to decorate the frame short or tall.
We're using paints, decoupage, paper and stamps for our creations.

I handed the creative reigns over to my sugaroo to make her projects for her special guys. I assisted with the decoupaging and paper cutting but, she did the rest! She LOVED it though she was pretty insistent that the frames needed glitter! I told her that glitter was more for girls than for Papa, Grandpa and Daddy. Her response - 'I'm a girl and I like glitter and they're gonna love what I make for them'. Oy!! Thankfully, I detoured her from the glitter explosion that was to be but, that was a close one people. Haha! Truthfully, they would've loved whatever she made. Anyway, So Jameson could have a part in this project we painted his little hands and hand printed the frame. Well, that just looked too much stinkin' fun for Sav not to do it so, she hand printed too. FUN!!

I hope you can join us this weekend to make a special, personalized gift for your special guys. Happy Father's Day!!

A Topsy Turvy Lala Loopsy Tea Party

My baby girl turned 5!!
Holy cow where has the time gone? She wanted a Lala LoopsyTea Party and since the Loopsies are all about mixing it up we decided to have the Tea Party under the table. The girls had so much fun! We decorated paper crowns (I'm still sweeping up glitter off of the floor!) and there were cupcakes! My little love was very specific about what kind of cupcakes she wanted. Strawberry cake filled with Chocolate pudding and of course pink icing with lots of sprinkles - They were DELISH!!
Our table was covered in pink tulle tied up with pink ribbon, a few fabric buntings and some great big lollies hung from the ceiling and we were ready to party.
Now to plan my lil guys 1 year party for June. These kiddos are growing too stinkin' fast!
Life is good, Amy

Sweetness!!

Oh the glitter!! Goodness!!

I covered a box for the little tea table to match the lollies. Simple Dimple!

Savvy Cakes enjoiying her very specific cupcake! Love it when a girl knows what she wants! :)
